The Hutchinson Multimedia Encyclopedia 1998 was launched on Sunday 7 September at ECTS 1997 at Olympia with the help of Posh, Scary, Ginger, Baby, and Sporty Spice.
Nice 'n' Spicy, the BRIT impostors, visited the KOCH Media stand on the opening day of the show to promote this new and fully revised edition of the only fully British encyclopedia on CD-ROM. Articles in the Hutchinson Multimedia Encyclopedia 1998 include up-to-date information on the Spice Girls, Alan Shearer, and Channel 5, among others. It features an entirely new software engine and interface, making it not only the most comprehensive product on the market, but also the fastest and easiest to use.
The Hutchinson Multimedia Encyclopedia 1998 has been rewritten, taking into account more than 8,000 user comments from homes, schools, and libraries. So, as well as more than 4,000 new articles, 20% more text, and 1,300 new media items, this edition also contains a wealth of new features that prove that learning can be fun!
