The Helicon Country Map Suite
If you are simply looking for a clear, stand-alone country map for Web use, Helicon can offer clear maps for each country in the world, optimized for online use.
This set of 193 maps provides the ideal source for country maps to illustrate Web pages, travel articles, or any other publication, either in print or online. The maps have been designed to fit into a single screen display and are therefore at a variety of different scales. Presented in 'island' style, each map depicts one country floating free of any surrounding territory. This feature makes it simple to incorporate the maps into any existing page design where text, map, and illustrations need to be integrated.
The maps include major cities and towns, rivers, and principal motorways and roads, plus a selection of physical features, as well as lines of latitude and longitude and a scale bar. Each country map also has a small locator map showing its position within the continent in which it is found.
All maps are available in raster format.
Each map fits within a standard window of 640 × 480 pixels.
